Springbrook, a leading provider of special education services, is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and counselors to provide speech and language assessments and therapy to students aged 5-21.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Speech Therapist to provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to participants in our day program and residential settings. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, develop and implement individual and group therapy goals, and maintain and document therapy/intervention procedures and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to participants in a day program and residential settings.
  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individual and group therapy goals in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Coordinate services and provide recommendations to Day Program/School personnel and participant's families.
  • Provide in-service training and consultation to day program/school staff.

Requirements:

  • NYS Certification in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.

What We Offer:

  • A 10-month school calendar with an option to work a 30-day summer session.
  • An estimated salary range of $70,000-$74,000 per year.
  • A sign-on bonus of $1,500.
