At CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients and employees. As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will play a vital role in advancing modern medicine by providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.
The Role:
- Perform respiratory procedures under physician direction in all patient areas, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement and evaluate therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to deliver effective and efficient care, leveraging knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity.
- Support the organization's vision and mission by participating in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of respiratory therapy experience, preferred
- Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
- High School Diploma required
- Associates Degree preferred
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program, i.e. CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP required
- Current state licensure (RLT) in applicable state of employment and CRT certification by NBRC required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required; ACLS and NRP certifications upon hire or within 6 months
