Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, and electrical equipment according to directions and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other documentation to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks, including hand-soldering components and testing circuit board assemblies.
  • Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Check products for quality and uniform completion, and resolve any identified problems.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Manage supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, and expediting orders.
Requirements
  • General knowledge of production processes and procedures.
  • Experience with small hand tools and ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
  • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 25lbs.
