Job Description:
As a Retail Operations Manager at GNC, you will be responsible for learning the overall operations of a retail store under the direction of a Store Manager or District Manager. You will gain knowledge and competency in financial processes required to manage a retail store, with a focus on customer service, inventory management, and sales growth. Your primary objective will be to facilitate an exceptional customer experience through all channels of interaction, meeting or exceeding corporate set goals, expectations, and key performance indicators.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate exceptional customer service through all channels of interaction.
- Drive GNC's loyalty programs and incentives for successful engagement of customers.
- Monitor best sellers, identify product demand, and update SM regarding trends.
- Facilitate community engagement and client loyalty through innovative and creative outreach.
- Read all merchandising bulletins to understand product assortment and answer product questions based on Company-approved information.
- Supervise and lead store team under SM guidance; communicate sales targets and drive team performance; provide feedback and support succession planning of high performers by communicating team performance to SM.
- Review all training resources and complete assigned modules to understand product assortment and answer product questions based on Company-approved information.
- Ensure company assets are protected and not exposed to risks and conflicts of interest.
- Partner with SM to handle escalated customer service issues; support SM in monitoring store's Loss Prevention activities and escalate concerns.
- Keep store clean and uncluttered.
- Perform all register operations. Complete all daily register and store open/close functions and bank deposits according to GNC policies and procedures.
Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager who can effectively manage the day-to-day operations of our retail stores. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2+ years of retail sales experience and prior management/supervisory experience. You should possess strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills. Additionally, you should have a high degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
Benefits:
The Company offers competitive rates of pay, ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. As a valued member of our team, you will also be eligible for employee discounts and access to GNC's Health Program (virtual health services). This position is eligible to participate in the Individual Sales Commission Program, providing opportunities for additional earnings.
