Radiologic Technologist Operating Room

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Baton Rouge General. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic exams, monitoring patient care quality, and evaluating patient data to ensure optimal care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic exams, including all modalities covered under the staff radiographer's license.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care quality and efficiency as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Evaluate patient data to ensure optimal care and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work with other patient care personnel to improve service delivery and ensure effective communication.
- Coordinate all patient care activities in assigned treatment area, including patient scheduling, treatment, record keeping, calculations, and machine functions.
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including positioning patients and operating equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Assess data reflective of each patient's status and interpret information needed to identify each patient's age-specific health care needs.
- Utilize advanced knowledge to perform procedures across modalities and in unusual situations.
- Provide direct or indirect supervision or training for radiologic technology students.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and hold a current LA state license to perform in the capacity of radiographer.
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's in health-related field preferred.
