Job Summary

Precision Scans Inc is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and clarity for diagnostic interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of various anatomical structures.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety during the scan.
  • Administer IV contrast agents as per protocol, monitoring patient reactions and taking necessary actions in case of adverse effects.
  • Verify the quality of CT images, ensuring all necessary views are captured and transferred to the PACS for interpretation by the radiologist.
  • Perform regular checks and preventive maintenance on CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions or required repairs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure radiation protection protocols are strictly followed for patients, staff, and self, maintaining compliance with safety standards.
  • Accurately document patient information, procedures performed, and any relevant details in the patient's medical record.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT).
  • Valid state license for Radiologic Technology (if required by state).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a CT Tech is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Work is performed in a hospital or imaging center environment.
  • Requires standing for long periods, moving patients, and handling medical equipment.
  • Potential exposure to radiation, infectious diseases, and bloodborne pathogens.
