Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Friendship Village. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all residential and commercial HVAC Systems/Refrigeration Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including residential and commercial units, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues with HVAC systems, including circuits and copper tubing.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a clean, safe, and secure living environment for residents.
  • Adhere to local, state, and national codes, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure compliance and quality workmanship.
  • Participate in on-call schedule for weekends and be available to respond to emergency situations as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Trade School background or two years of HVAC experience preferred.
  • Must possess Environmental Protection Agency Universal Proper Refrigerant Practices License.
  • Ability to read, write, perform arithmetic, and communicate effectively.
  • Two years of HVAC experience preferred.
