About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Service Technician to join our team at Vestas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and installation work on wind turbines, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting, with experience working at heights and in challenging weather conditions. You will be required to climb wind turbines, perform repairs, and maintain equipment, while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines
  • Climb wind turbines to inspect and repair equipment
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify issues
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in the wind industry or a related field
  • Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO)
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge
  • Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
