Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our boiler systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain boiler systems, including monitoring water, chemical, and fuel levels.
- Perform routine safety checks and record data on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Support the overall maintenance of patient rooms and the interior/exterior of the work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of boilers, gauges, and valves.
- 3-5 years of general maintenance experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous boiler operator experience in a healthcare environment.
- Black Seal or Blue Seal or Red Seal or Gold Seal at SOMC, RMC, and BMC.
- Blue Seal or Red Seal or Gold Seal at JSUMC and OUMC.
