Job Summary:

Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks, including fit-up and track welding, as well as fabricating metal parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding tasks, including fit-up and track welding, to ensure high-quality products.
  • Fabricate metal parts, including cutting and shaping, to meet customer specifications.
  • Operate various welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve welding skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, including MIG and TIG welding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in welding preferred.
