Adjunct Faculty

Blue Ridge Community and Technical College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty members to teach courses in the Information Technology Division. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in information systems or a related field.

**Job Summary**

The adjunct faculty member will provide classroom and lab instruction for various courses, including Information Literacy and Web Page Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching morning, afternoon, and evening sections of college-level classes, as assigned.

**Responsibilities:**

• Teach classroom and laboratory instruction for various courses in information technology
• Grade and attendance reporting

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems or a related field for Information Literacy courses
• Master's degree preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design or a related field for Web Page Design courses
• Master's degree preferred

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Teaching experience in a community college setting
• Experience with online instruction
• Strong computer skills

**Salary:** $50,000 - $80,000 per year, dependent on degree level and experience. This estimate is based on the location and industry standards.
