Salary

This role offers an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. As a full-time employee, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including benefits and retirement plans.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Trade Instructor to teach adult inmates plumbing skills. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Instructing inmates in all areas of plumbing, including general plumbing, preventative plumbing, and equipment installation.
  • Providing on-the-job training and vocational training to ensure students meet industry standards.
  • Assigning and reviewing work, inspecting work in progress, and approving completed work.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in the inspection, maintenance, repair, assembly, and installation of pipes, fittings, and fixtures used in heating, water, and drainage systems.
  • Completion of an approved apprenticeship in the plumbing trade or equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • A 30-minute lunch break and regular working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
