Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide much-needed relief to caregivers by assisting individuals with daily living activities, such as cooking, housekeeping, hygiene, and recreation. You will also help with medication assistance, communication skills, decision-making, self-advocacy, community integration, and other related services.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and have a valid Indiana driver's license. You should also maintain reliable transportation and a clear criminal record, as required by Medicaid Waiver regulations.
