Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Agile Transformation Leader to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and guiding multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in accordance with SAFe principles, ensuring alignment across teams and optimizing the flow of value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Agile Transformation: Develop and implement Agile transformation strategies to drive business value and improve efficiency across multiple ARTs.
  • Coach and Mentor: Provide coaching and mentoring to leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters to reinforce Lean-Agile practices and a growth mindset.
  • Facilitate Key Events: Facilitate key ART-level events, including PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, ART Sync, and Scrum of Scrums, to ensure alignment and optimize workflow.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including product and solution management, architects, and engineers, to ensure strategic and execution alignment.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, remove impediments, and track metrics to enhance workflow efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in PI Planning and other SAFe events, leveraging insights and feedback to enhance business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8 years of experience in real-world Agile coaching, with a proven track record of guiding software product teams, divisions, or organizations through the challenges of adopting and scaling agility.
  • Release Train Engineer: 2 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) with a deep understanding of SAFe principles and practices.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Proven ability to coach and mentor leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices.
  • SAFe Certification: At least one SAFe certification, with Scrum Master/SAFe Practice Consultant 6.0 preferred.
Desired Qualifications
  • Jira Administration: Experience in Jira administration is preferred.
  • Additional Certifications: Certifications in SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Scrum Master, and SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager are highly desirable.
