Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Radiology Department Director to oversee the daily operations and develop, implement, and monitor plans for patient care services in the radiology department. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities- Manage daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Develop, implement, and monitor plans for patient care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assess quality of patient care and coordinate services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
- Oversee staff relations, performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as Joint Commission, ACR, JRCERT, ICAVL, and all regulatory agencies.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Our competitive salary range is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
