Position Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. This role requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to adapt to various clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Perform necessary medical procedures, including catheter insertion and administering insulin.
  • Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment and respond to alarms appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry
  • Discipline: RN
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role; first-time travelers are welcome.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BCLS; PALS preferred.
Work Schedule

This position typically involves 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts. The staffing ratios are as follows:

  • Days: 1 nurse to 5 patients
  • Nights: 1 nurse to 6 patients
  • Weekends: 1 nurse to 6 patients
Patient Demographics

The candidate will care for a diverse patient population, including:
