Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse, On-Call

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on an on-call basis. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality care to our residents in a warm and supportive environment.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse, On-Call will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents in our assisted living home. This includes administering medications, providing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing person-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Assess residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
  • Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in nursing care.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited school in practical nursing.
  • Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse with the State of Alaska.
  • Ability to lift, assist, and transfer patients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
