As a Subcontract Administrator at Amentum, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our subcontracting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subcontract Administration: Coordinate subcontract administration from cradle to grave, including acquisition planning, source selection, cost/price analysis, negotiation, and closeout.
  • Document Management: Develop and produce subcontract documentation such as subcontracts, agreements, and modification task/delivery orders.
  • Procurement Coordination: Coordinate procurement documentation like acquisition plans, source selection plans, and RFPs.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Evaluate proposals and quotations, perform discussions and negotiations, and develop subcontract files.
  • Compliance and Monitoring: Ensure compliance with regulations, meet subcontract requirements, and monitor cost status.
  • Subcontract Management: Manage subcontract files, prepare modifications, and interface with subcontractors and service providers.

Requirements:

  • Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in subcontracts, procurement, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Costpoint, process improvement methodologies, and specialized knowledge in areas such as engineering, manufacturing, and labor broker subcontract agreements.
