Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corrections Agent to join our team at the Pine City Courthouse. As a key member of our Probation department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Director and probation agents in their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine priorities related to data entry of case file material and ensure data integrity.
  • Evaluate compliance of low-risk offenders with court-ordered conditions and compose violation reports as needed.
  • Manage the CSTS database/case management system, including user security and coordinator updates with the IT Department.
  • Coordinate electronic monitoring programs and analyze vendor billing and statistical data.
  • Collect and exchange offender information and respond to questions from internal and external customers.
  • Interview offenders to obtain necessary information and assist them as directed by supervising agents and work sites.
  • Provide support services to Probation Agents as requested and cover front desk/Administrative Assistant duties in their absence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology.
  • Full-time 400-hour internship with the Department of Corrections or equivalent experience in a correctional environment.
  • Valid Minnesota driver's license.
