Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise in tax matters, including taxation of high-net-worth individuals, estates, and trusts.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies and solutions to complex challenges, leveraging your extensive knowledge and experience in tax law.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for new service offerings and innovation of existing services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving tax legislation, guidance, and case law, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Develop and deliver educational presentations and training programs to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of tax policy and advocacy efforts, working closely with government agencies and industry organizations.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in tax, with a strong background in taxation of high-net-worth individuals, estates, and trusts.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Law (J.D. or L.L.M.).
  • CPA license and/or J.D. / L.L.M. preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and industry partners.
  • Continuous learning and a commitment to staying up-to-date with evolving tax laws and regulations.
