Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent

Certification Requirements:
· Must hold a valid New York State Nurse's Aide Certification.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist residents with mobility and transfers between bed, chair, and other locations.
· Support residents with feeding and hydration needs.
· Manage bedpans and urinals for residents.
· Ensure cleanliness and comfort for incontinent residents, including changing linens.
· Provide personal care including bathing and hygiene.
· Aid residents in dressing and undressing.
· Prepare residents for religious services if requested.
· Participate in bowel and bladder rehabilitation programs.
· Collect specimens and monitor intake and output, maintaining accurate records.
· Measure vital signs and assist with basic care tasks as directed by nursing staff.
· Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Charge Nurse.
· Complete required documentation before the end of each shift.
· Attend mandatory training sessions as per regulations.
· Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
· Collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, residents, and their families.
· Foster a positive and professional work environment.
· Adhere to all organizational policies and safety protocols.
· Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
