As a Professor of Aquatic Sciences, you will contribute to the development of our students' knowledge and skills in the application of genomics to the fields of aquaculture, fisheries, and other aquatic sciences.
You will be responsible for teaching courses, mentoring graduate students, and developing an externally funded research program in genomics that addresses applied questions in aquaculture, fisheries, or other aquatic sciences. Our ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in genomics or a related life-sciences field at the time of employment and exhibit a publication record in genomics research focused on aquatic organisms.
