Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments and reassessments on all patients to ensure accurate documentation and effective care planning.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and training to staff on therapeutic diets, menu management, and food allergens.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in dietetics or a related field.
- Registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- State licensure/certification, if required by state.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferred.
