At Aveanna Healthcare, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Reading, PA. About the Role
This position offers flexible scheduling options and competitive compensation packages. We are looking for a highly skilled RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and has excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Performing patient assessments and assisting in developing individualized care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
  • Monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes in condition to the supervising RN or physician.
  • Providing patient and family education on healthcare management, medication administration, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Providing emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families throughout the care continuum.

About You
We are looking for a candidate with strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, the successful candidate must have:
  • A current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of six months of nursing experience, preferably in a home healthcare or pediatric setting.
