Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care at Cosby Village. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and education.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies, and participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive patient experience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans and treatment protocols.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Virginia.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience (preferred).
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems (preferred).
