PACU PRN Position at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery area.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care to patients recovering from surgery, anesthesia, and other medical procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Experience in a Critical care setting, at least one year.
  • Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage.
