Centurion Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infection Control Nurse to join our team at Tipton Correctional Center in Missouri.

Job Summary:

The Infection Control Nurse will be responsible for coordinating the prevention and control of infectious diseases within our healthcare facilities. This includes collecting, interpreting, and reporting data, developing care plans for patients with infectious diseases, and serving as a consultant to healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data related to infectious diseases
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients with infectious diseases
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on infection control practices
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with infection control standards

Requirements:

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Missouri
  • Certification in infection control (CIC) preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a public health environment, long-term care, or acute care setting
  • Ability to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance
