Position Overview
Saint Luke's Health System is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become a vital part of our Family Medicine clinic at Mission Farms. This role encompasses a combination of direct patient engagement and essential administrative duties.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday daytime schedule:
- Four days from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- One half-day (based on provider's schedule) from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Note: No holidays or weekends required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telephone triage and manage patient flow effectively.
- Coordinate appointments for patients with urgent needs.
- Assess learning requirements for patients and their families, providing guidance and recommendations.
- Administer intravenous access and medications as needed.
- Delegate tasks to clinical personnel in alignment with their competencies and scope of practice.
- Input admission orders as directed by the supervising provider.
- Oversee the management of expired samples.
- May assist with Medical Assistant duties or other office responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
Less than one year of applicable experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse is preferred.
