Wood County Hospital is actively looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician to become a vital part of our OPS Department. This position is focused on providing both direct and indirect patient care for individuals across various age groups, all under the guidance of qualified healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities encompass patient observation, management of medical equipment, and performing administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and record patient health status
  • Assist in the transportation of patients
  • Ensure the correct operation and upkeep of medical devices

Work Schedule:

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Shift: Day Shift, from 7:30/8:30 am to 16:00/18:00 pm

Weekdays: Monday through Friday

Essential Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ohio STNA certification is advantageous
