We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team in the Operating Room. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the necessary equipment and instruments to ensure seamless surgical procedures.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. As a Medical Equipment Specialist, you will be an integral part of the surgical team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance and sterility.
  • Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A technical or vocational diploma in a relevant field.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
