We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures and related activities for all patients served.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures and related activities for all patients served.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, other physicians, and the Area Physicist to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities to maintain department and regulatory standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, their families, and the medical staff.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a hospital-based nuclear medicine technologist.
