Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is a key member of the Facilities Team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work, to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
  • Respond to work orders and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage projects that require electrical or mechanical construction or repair, including developing scope of work specifications and monitoring progress.
  • Work with the Facilities Team to document property, mechanical, and electrical systems in the CMMS.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment that supports the New Pig culture.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience working with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
  • Certified skills in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to achieve Fork Truck and Scissor Lift certifications.
  • MS Office - Word, Excel a plus.
  • Willingness to learn new software systems to manage and document facility assets.
Work Environment

Work is primarily located at our Tipton and Duncansville facilities, with occasional need at our Altoona locations. Core hours are between 7am to 3:30pm, with willingness for overtime required.
