Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Telehealth Nurse to join our team at Arizona General Hospital - Laveen. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in a hospital setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients, including medication management, wound care, and other treatments.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care and develop plans to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and AZ license (or compact) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Telehealth Nurse.
  • Ability to work weekends in rotation with core staff.
  • COVID vaccine required or declination form with appropriate documentation.
  • Pass/fail Sim Lab required on Day 1 of orientation.
Work Environment

The Telehealth Nurse will work in a hospital setting, providing care to patients in a variety of settings, including medical-surgical and post-surgical units. The nurse will be required to float to sister facilities in Mesa and work weekends in rotation with core staff.
