Key Responsibilities

As an Inclusive Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and implementing tailored lesson plans that align with the established curriculum.
  • Conducting assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and training to enhance instructional practices.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
  • A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and exceptional learners.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and software.
