Speech Pathology Specialist

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 558-bed acute care facility in Palm Beach County, offering services such as emergency care, cardiovascular services, neurosciences, and robotic surgery. We have four locations in the county, with a main campus that serves as a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center. Our hospital is also a certified Ventricular Assist Device program and an American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center. In addition, we are an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. With two off-site ERs in Palm Beach Gardens and West Boynton Beach, we provide emergency treatment for adults and children. As a Speech Language Pathologist at HCA Florida JFK Hospital, you will be part of a dynamic team of clinical professionals in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, development, implementation, and revision of treatment programs. You will coordinate patient care assignments to ensure continuity of care and maximum utilization of clinical/licensed supportive personnel. Your knowledge and expertise will be valued in this role, where you will demonstrate effective resource utilization critical to operational stability within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) of the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Florida state licensure is also required. While experience is preferred, it is not necessary. This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
