Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at Parkland Medical Center. As a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing total care of the patient before, during, and after procedures, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support.
  • Document patient information in a complete and timely manner, utilizing computer charting and ordering systems.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to manage a multitasking workload, ensuring efficient delivery of care for multiple patient assignments.
  • Utilize assessment and intervention skills to provide appropriate care, including triaging patients according to the Emergency Nursing Association triage category systems.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the emergent needs of patients and families, demonstrating flexibility and ability to process complex information quickly and accurately.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding health behaviors, utilizing colleagues as resources as needed.
  • Collect and perform point-of-care testing, including moderately complex testing, according to established policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Registered Professional Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • New Hampshire RN license or Compact License required.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • 2 years of RN experience in Cath Lab and Interventions preferred.
