Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily rounds and communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide professional nursing care to residents, adapting to changing patient needs and staffing requirements.
- Administer medications, including IV medications, and chart patient information accurately.
- Obtain lab specimens, take vital signs, and monitor patients' conditions as necessary.
- Notify physicians and families of changes in patient condition and document all interactions.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of South Dakota.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competency and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and attend mandatory departmental meetings and in-services.
This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package. The work schedule includes evening shifts, with occasional weekend and holiday coverage.
