Job Overview:
This role involves providing technical support to customers, traveling to their locations to repair or modify Komatsu stamping equipment. The position aims to boost service and parts sales through effective customer engagement. The role requires travel approximately 75-85% of the time, including potential trips to various countries. Weekend work is expected around 80% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to repair Komatsu stamping presses.
- If necessary, oversee repairs using subcontractors or customer maintenance personnel.
- Prepare accurate service quotations for customers, including liaising with subcontractors.
- Provide warranty service and support.
- Regularly contact customers to promote service and parts sales.
- Communicate with the headquarters; proficiency in Japanese is a plus but not mandatory.
- Offer technical phone support and provide customers with essential product information for equipment repairs.
- Coordinate new press installations.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Background in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
- 5-7 years of experience in stamping press maintenance.

Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; capable of writing routine reports and correspondence; able to read assembly and individual blueprints.
- Proficiency in Japanese is preferred.

Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage several abstract and concrete variables.


Technical Skills:
- Proficient understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings/diagrams.

Computer Skills:
- Solid knowledge of PC and common Windows applications (Word, Excel, Access, Project). Willingness to learn other software programs used within the company.

Physical Demands:
