ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a seasoned Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Engineer to become a vital member of our Engineering Team at BlueHalo. This position will focus on supporting the design, integration, and evaluation of technologies that drive our mobile electronic warfare solutions. Responsibilities will encompass research and development initiatives, operational testing and assessment, capability enhancement projects, and the incorporation of innovative technologies.
The EW Systems Engineer will be responsible for establishing and managing requirements, developing operational system concepts, conducting system architecture analyses, and gathering insights from leadership and system stakeholders. A proactive and high-achieving mindset is essential, along with proficiency in facilitating cross-functional, multidisciplinary team efforts.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in commercially available and deployed systems, showcasing the ability to effectively oversee product development from initial requirements through to testing and final delivery. A customer-centric approach is fundamental to this role, directly contributing to the advancement of complex systems in critical mission applications. Collaboration with our electrical, RF, software, and mechanical engineering teams will be crucial to ensure a comprehensive understanding of system requirements and to foster effective communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate and support requirements definition
- Conduct research and development tasks
- Identify and perform hands-on evaluations of system components
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across teams throughout the product development lifecycle
- Translate intricate technical challenges into actionable strategies and system architectures
- Review, develop, and document operational concepts at the system level
- Provide updates to peers and leadership regarding progress and technical challenges
- Stay informed on emerging industry trends and customer-driven demands
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Physics
- 5+ years of direct experience in EW/RF, or 2 years of related experience with a Master's degree
- Design experience related to EW hardware and software
- Hands-on proficiency with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other RF measurement tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with EW modeling and simulation systems and techniques
- Experience with programming in C++ and MATLAB
- Hands-on development experience in relevant areas
- Strong skills in technical writing and communication
- Experience with the integration and application of high-fidelity simulation and Hardware-in-loop (HWIL) testing
- Must be a US Citizen with appropriate identification
