Job Overview:

At Scion Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in medical diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating X-ray, MRI, CT, and other imaging equipment to capture internal images for diagnosis.
  • Positioning patients for optimal image capture, ensuring their safety, and minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Reviewing images for clarity and accuracy, and adjusting settings as needed.
  • Maintaining imaging machines in good working condition.
  • Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare teams to assist in diagnosis and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in CPR.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment like X-rays, MRI, and CT scanners.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient protection.
  • Ability to position patients correctly and capture clear, accurate images.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $67,000 - $87,000 based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks per year.
