Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as injections and blood draws.
  • Conduct patient assessments and document findings in the medical record.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Current LVN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Completion of an approved LPN/LVN program.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • IV Therapy Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
  • Ability to lift 60-70lbs frequently.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the scheduled shift.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
