Role Summary: The Controls Engineer is responsible for delivering technical expertise to enhance manufacturing processes. This role focuses on the ongoing improvement of production systems through the design, selection, and implementation of new technologies, as well as the enhancement of existing systems. The engineer will also support maintenance teams and ensure accurate documentation of all systems.

Core Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure optimal reliability.
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and automated systems.
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for machinery and gauges, including integrated automation solutions such as robotics and servo controls, as well as HMI and data collection systems.
- Manage projects related to new machinery and system upgrades, ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain and update documentation for processes and operational procedures.
- Stay informed on the latest technologies and manufacturing systems relevant to the role.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Conduct training sessions for plant personnel on HMI and SCADA equipment operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commissioning and troubleshooting control systems.
- Proficient in editing and developing PLC programs.
- Ability to produce complete and accurate electrical system documentation.

Compensation:
$47.12 per hour
