About the Role

At US Foods, Inc., we are seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to customers while ensuring accuracy and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify the accuracy of deliveries with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Requirements

  • A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
  • Ability to read and communicate in the English language, including holding a conversation, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports and records.
