About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team at Lighthouse Autism Center. As an ABA Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping children with autism reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 18 months to school age, using your expertise to provide personalized therapy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement customized therapy plans.
  • Apply creativity in therapy, using advanced techniques in our play-based and naturalistic therapy environment.
  • Guide children's progress, helping them succeed in educational and social settings, and preparing them for successful transitions.
  • Document and track development, contributing to each child's therapy program by meticulously documenting their progress.
Requirements
  • Lifting/Carrying more than 50 lbs. Able to sustain impact to body (i.e., being hit, etc.) in any area. Running, crouching, squatting, and ability to kneel for sustained periods of time. Bending at the waist to touch knees and/or toes. Full range of motion of hands and arms. Sitting on the floor and chair for long periods of time. Ability to move quickly from standing to seated, or kneeling position, without support. Communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and written.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
  • Important Note: Safety is a priority at Lighthouse. You will undergo a background check and drug test at the time of hire.

Work Environment

We offer a full-time, center-based therapy environment, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends, and no contractual obligations.
