Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay: $18.11/hr. on W2 (all inclusive)

Contract Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Mon – Friday

Job Summary:

This role is a sample preparation and sample inventorying position in an R&D environment. It involves physical labor related to sample grinding in various mill types, large and small lab equipment washing, and sample inventorying/retrieval in a highly regulated environment. The role also includes I/S related job duties to enable compliant sample chain of custody and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

Technicians in Sample Management will be responsible for performing all aspects of sample preparation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge of all sample preparation techniques commonly used in the department, including sample milling and lyophilizing.
  • Assisting in receiving and transferring samples submitted for preparation and subsequent analysis.
  • Operating all sample preparation equipment and recognizing when equipment is not working properly.
  • Familiarity with department documents pertaining to sample preparation and ensuring compliance.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate sample preparation and tracking records.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of sample preparation techniques, laboratory equipment operation, and compliance with GLP requirements. Strong communication and organizational skills are also essential for success in this role.
