About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our new financial platform. This platform will serve as the backbone for Chime, powering critical financial activities for millions of members.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying components of the platform. You will work closely with our infrastructure engineering team to ensure the platform is secure, reliable, and high-performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing secure and reliable infrastructure and APIs
  • Working with our QA team to conduct quality assurance on new code
  • Developing thoroughly tested code and following agile methodologies
  • Participating in on-call rotations to address platform issues

Requirements include:

  • 4+ years of engineering experience
  • Experience in Go and additional backend languages such as Ruby, Java, and Python
  • Contributions to the development of backend systems
  • Experience in payment processing systems
  • Rigorous approach to testing and development
