Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our busy medical testing laboratory team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will perform various tasks to support the laboratory technical staff, including phlebotomy, specimen procurement, specimen processing, waived lab testing, reference lab specimens, and the maintenance of quality assurance records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform phlebotomy and obtain other specimens as indicated
  • Instruct patients in the collection of specimens as necessary
  • Enter specimens into various computerized information systems
  • Perform waived testing and tasks in all laboratory areas under the direction of the appropriate Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory Technologists, or other designated laboratory personnel
Requirements:
  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
  • FBI Criminal Background Check
