The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine is seeking a talented Endocrinology Professor to enhance clinical programs in the care of patients with diabetes, related metabolic conditions and endocrine disorders. The successful candidate will participate as Clinician-Educator in the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents and endocrinology fellows in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities:- Teach fellows, residents and medical students using adult learning methods that enhance and encourage active learning and ongoing professional development.
- Establish outpatient clinics in diabetes, general endocrinology and other areas according to the applicant's interest.
- Contribute to the overall scholarly and research activities of the Division.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, education and research.
