Criminology Expert

The University of Colorado Denver is seeking an experienced criminology expert to fill a tenure-track position as a tenured associate professor in the School of Public Affairs. This is a full-time, 9-month academic year appointment with opportunities for summer teaching and research.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in criminology, criminal justice, and public policy
• Develop and direct a program or unit within the School of Public Affairs
• Pursue high-quality research and publication in peer-reviewed journals

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000-$105,000 per academic year, depending on experience and qualifications. The university provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, tuition benefits, and paid time off.

• Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Public Administration, or a closely related field
• Teaching experience and effectiveness in criminology and public policy programs
