About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Remodel Project Manager to join our team at Gallman Consulting. As a Retail Remodel Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction activities of retail remodel and upfit projects, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and adherence to budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and supervise construction activities, including field operations, to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Maintain construction schedules, including short interval production schedules, and identify and solve problems to ensure project success.
  • Material Management: Order materials and schedule inspections necessary throughout the project.
  • Quality Control: Ensure quality work is put in place, workflow for crafts, suppliers, employees, and third-party contractors.
  • Safety Management: Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards.
  • Communication: Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare daily reports, safety reports, schedules, and supervise completion of a final punch list.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience running crews or supervising remodel/upfit work.
  • Skills: Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production in all phases of construction.
  • Industry Knowledge: Retail Remodel/Retail Upfit for Publix and/or Walmart.
